7 Review was extremely enthusiastic about the Aspen FR10 loudspeaker. The author of the review began by noting, “Not surprisingly, [speaker designer] Chris Brunhaver scaled down the FR10 from the large FR30…it has worked phenomenally well.” The article continued, “[The sound] is confident, competent with all music styles, very natural, and despite all resolution capabilities, never artificial.” The reviewer concluded, Believe me when I say that tears come to my eyes during Centro la Tosca… I react emotionally to music when it’s presented like this, and here it is so. [Gianmaria] Testa sings so tenderly, so personally, almost fragile; even the scratchiness in his throat when he raises his voice or gets closer to the microphone hits me emotionally like never before. I follow his story, even if I don’t understand it in content; this transcendence is made possible by the PS Audio Aspen FR10.

A number of PS Audio components are included in the latest edition of Stereophile’s spring 2025 Recommended Components listings. The PerfectWave DirectStream DAC MK2 earned a Class A ranking, as did the Aspen FR5 loudspeaker. The reviewer noted, “they offer excellent treble detail without brightness, fine voice delineation without emphasis, and generous bass for their size.” Most impressive is the FR5’s spacious soundstage…these speakers do not sound small.” The PowerPlant 20 and PowerPlant 12 also made the listings. One reviewer stated that going from a Wiremold power strip to the P20 “was one of the biggest changes I’ve heard when switching out components.” Another noted that following issues with his AC power, a P20 restored the sound of his system.

Dagogo published Part Two of Doug Schroeder’s extensive review of two Stellar Strata MK2 integrated amplifiers in an unusual tandem configuration of horizontally bi-amplifying his loudspeakers. He noted, “My system building lately has led to radicalizing my audiophile worldview, turning me into something of a rebel system builder who is making configurations of equipment that would be laughable were they not decimating traditionally configured systems. The twin Stellar Strata MK2 in the horizontal bi-amp configuration blew out of the water all the traditionally configured systems I had built as a reviewer for 17 years regardless of cost.
