It seems to me that over the course of days, weeks, months, and years I experience waves of struggles and successes. And I suspect that is the same for us all.
Certainly, the magnitude of the roller coaster ride changes for each of us—some have it easy while others struggle to hang on by their fingertips.
But, regardless of where we are, it appears that it is our attitudes and outlooks that determine how we react and respond to life's ups and downs.
When I am fortunate enough to meet someone I would describe as happy-go-lucky, my first thought is they've led a charmed life. Their problems are few and their successes many. Digging deeper I inevitably discover their rates of struggles and successes are about the same as mine.
The difference?
It seems to be attitude.
