Closet Gearheads

There are two categories of Audiophiles (well, probably more than that but....): Gearheads and Musicheads.

Many Audiophiles are more in love with the gear than the music but are uncomfortable admitting it for fear of ridicule; and they keep quiet.

Some Musicheads seem to think their worldview is cleaner, purer and more noble than that of the Gearhead. Bull.

I am willing to openly admit that while I love music, I love the gear more.

I encourage you to stand up and feel comfortable about your choice because being honest with the world about what motivates us is freedom.

Gearhead or Musichead?
