Music that resonates with us generates emotional connection regardless of how it is reproduced.
It doesn't matter to me if I am in the car, listening on earbuds, or live. If the music resonates, I cannot stop my foot from tapping.
Yet, there is always more to it if we wish to amplify the experience. While an appealing tune moves us regardless of how it is reproduced, that same music presented on a high end audio system gains another dimension unavailable to the casual listener.
Perhaps its the layering, the soundstage, the dynamics. Doesn't matter. Whatever music resonates with us we can always amplify that experience with the right kit.
After all, isn't that why we're all here?
