One of the mistakes I have made over the years is waiting for that perfect solution. The piece of gear that will magically change everything. And, once in a great while I actually got to enjoy the thrill of that, but, for the most part, I found myself missing out on all the progress steps in between.
And that's a shame.
Being along for the ride when new happens—new that's worth our involvement—has the advantage of learning and growing along with the technology.
Standing on the sidelines waiting for "mr. right" to come strutting by leaves us out of the loop.
If you see an opportunity for better, you might consider battling that urge to wait and see.
After all, it's more fun being in the game than watching it from a distance.
