*I am writing this a day earlier than you are reading this.
Today, Thursday the 13th, finds us back again in Chicago on setup day at the Axpona show. It's been 4 years since we last were here.
What feels strange is the sense that nothing happened in between the intervening years. The same faces are here, the same opening of crates and boxes, the setup hassles, the excitement of tomorrow's show.
On the one hand, it's hard to ignore the CoViD years. And, on the other hand, it's a real joy to have made it through and have a chance to reconnect with our HiFi Family once again.
