RIP Dolly Parton (80). She wasn’t just a country music legend. She was an icon, a role model, and one of the most popular artists of all time with more than 100 million records sold. “I Will Always Love You” alone would have assured her place in music history even before Whitney Houston made it an international smash. The same can be said for “Jolene,” or “Coat of Many Colors,” or many others – Parton wrote more than 3,000 songs. We will always remember you.
