Future Audiophile published a highly positive review of the Aspen FR10 loudspeaker. The reviewer gave high marks to its understated appearance, planar driver technology, build quality, value, and ability to easily integrate into a room. He noted, “The midrange was robust and detailed, with weight in the lower midrange that gave vocals real texture. Bass was taut, present, and deep.” He continued, “Small details revealed layered vocals, and instruments were easy to place on the stage.” The reviewer concluded, “I am highly impressed with the PS Audio Aspen FR10 Loudspeakers. If you are shopping in this audiophile neighborhood for speakers, I would suggest they should be at the top of your audition list.”
The September 2026 print issue of The Absolute Sound has a rave review of the PMG Signature Preamplifier. TAS said it was “destined to be a classic.” In talking about the LP For Duke by Bill Berry and his Ellington All Stars through the PMG Signature preamp, the reviewer said, “It’s not just the uncolored clarity and aliveness of images, it is also the authenticity of timbre, the hair-trigger transients, and the rise and fall of micro-dynamic energy and decay that engage the ear in ways that make most other recordings sound contrived and opaque. The PMG did a superb job reproducing all these things.”
The review concluded, “PS Audio posits that the Paul McGowan PMG Signature Preamplifier is the finest preamplifier they’ve built. Well, I’ve got news for PS Audio. Having put this marvelous component through its paces for a few months, I think the team has understated its qualities. PMG is nothing short of an outstanding achievement.”
