Ok, we know that's not going to happen. Not with the latest Pikes upgrade for DirectStream, not with the latest tweak to a cable, power conditioner, feature on a Power Plant regenerator or favorite vacuum tube. Which can be frustrating for those building products that make music in people's homes.
But sometimes, amazingly, we get it right enough to say it's a hit, one that the vast majority of people just love. It's rare and, like the mystery of what makes a book, song or movie a hit, not always clear why. But you know it when you hit it and it feels good and genuine.
I have been keeping track of the comments on the new operating system for DirectStream and so far the yeas far outweigh the nays. That's a sign of success in anyone's book. But I do not want to ignore or leave out the nays, which is why we have always insisted our product be backwards compatible. The old firmware's easy enough to put back on if it just isn't working for you.
Your comments and suggestions are ever so valuable. It all matters, so please, keep the notes coming, both positive and negative. It all helps.
