A nice bottom end

A nice bottom end

I’ve never been shy about my love for bass—and our new Foundry F12 subwoofer is a dream come true.

We’re launching the F12 near the end of January, and I couldn’t be more excited. You all know how much I care about the low end. I spent years listening to one of the most extreme bass systems in high-end history: the IRS V’s array of twelve 12-inch servo-controlled woofers. That system taught me everything about depth, slam, control—and how easy it is to get it wrong.

And what it takes to get it right. And no, you don't need that much brute force.

The Foundry F12 brings that legacy into a new form. It’s tight, tunable, and built to integrate, not just impress. One of the biggest problems with subwoofers isn’t output—it’s coherence. If the timing and voicing are off, the sub stands out instead of blending in. The result is bloated, disconnected bass. The F12 solves that.

The F12 is one of only a rare handful of truly musical subwoofers. Yup, lots of shaking the ground but doing that and be musical? I can't wait for you to hear these.

Stay tuned.
