What's hiding in there?

Every design decision we've ever made started with the same question: is there more music in there that we're not hearing yet?

Not "can we measure better." Not "can we add a feature." Not "can we hit a price point." Those are certainly considerations, but they're downstream of the central questions:

Can we squeeze out more? 

What's hiding in there?

This is what separates engineering driven by genuine curiosity from engineering driven by product cycles. When you care about what the equipment is actually for — when you've sat in front of a great system and heard what recorded music can really sound like — the goal becomes clear and stays clear.

You're chasing an experience.

The interesting part is that meaningful improvements rarely come from dramatic breakthroughs. They come from accumulation. A better capacitor in the signal path. A power supply that's quieter and more stable under load. A circuit layout that reduces crosstalk between stages. Each change is modest on its own. The music gets a little more open, a little more present, a little more alive. Stack enough of those changes and something remarkable happens: the system starts to get out of the way.

And sometimes, like with the new PMG Signature amplifiers, a true breakthrough in design is what it's all about.

What you hear shouldn't be the amplifier or the DAC or the speakers. What you hear should be the music. The performance. The room where it was recorded. The people who made it.

Every improvement we've ever made was in service of that moment — the one where you stop listening to the system and start listening to the music.
