Putzing around on the website I noticed an older Paul's Post that had a collection of musical tracks that I haven't shared for quite some time. I went back to the music room and resurrected some of these beauties and surprise! They are still so enjoyable.
But it does beg a question:
When putting together a high-performance audio system, are we chasing musical truth or simply seeking maximum enjoyment? Most audiophiles would probably say both, but it raises an interesting question about where our priorities really lie. For me, the pursuit of musical truth tends to take center stage, mainly because my listening sessions revolve around optimizing product performance and ensuring our gear sounds great across a wide range of setups.
To achieve this, I rely on a carefully curated selection of musical tracks, chosen for their ability to challenge a system and showcase a variety of sonic qualities.
