Pace Rhythm and Timing. PRaT.

To the best of my knowledge, this is a British term that seems rarely to be heard or used over here in the wilds of the Americas. 

We're more likely to simply say something is foot-tapping good.

What's interesting to me is that because we don't use the term there's always questions about whether or not we pay attention to it. Which is kind of like asking if we don't believe in table manners because we we don't know how to spell etiquette.  

It seems we often pass judgement on what's important and what's not based on scanty clues. Do Brits really not care about bass? Every perfect bass note hit at the UK show seemed to bring a smile on faces as big as those of their distant Yank cousins.

I'll bet we all pretty much appreciate the same qualities in music.
