Octave Records
Other companies talk about their love of music. We make our own.
How Octave records
Recorded live, in one room
Small ensembles playing together in our Boulder studio, the way you'd hear them in person.
Pure DSD, nothing added
Recorded in DSD and left alone. No loudness processing, no performance rebuilt from twenty takes.
Made by the people who make your gear
We record the music and design the equipment, so you hear everything your system can do.
Our story
Why we started making records
Everything we make is designed to reveal what's on a recording. But most recordings are compressed and polished until there's little left to reveal. So in 2020 we built a studio and started making our own.
