Wrong side up
If you look at a globe of the Earth you'll note that New Zealand is upside down from where we live. So, it was with great relief that we didn't fall off the planet upon landing down under. (There are those that would argue the reason we didn't fall off is that the Earth is actually flat, but that's another story.) After a 12 hour flight from Los Angeles we landed in Aukland, then it was on to Blenheim where—amazingly—we were met by a fellow Audiophile, by the name of Chris. Chris was our driver to our first destination and when he saw my name wondered if it was the same person he watched on YouTube. Who knew? Here are Chris and me. What a lovely country. To date, New Zealand is the prettiest Terri and I have ever visited and populated with the nicest, laid back people on the planet (and kind and understanding to vegan and vegetarians). We were both smitten beyond words of both the North and South Islands. I, of course, took along my trusty camera and posted a small gallery here: https://adobe.ly/36a2MK1 You can view and (if you wish) download any of the photos that please you. They are big and ready for framing if any float your boat. Feel free. On our last day, we visited Hobbiton, the movie set for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. We were treated like VIPs and got a private tour. We videoed our visit and made a three-part YouTube series. The first video of the tour is here: https://youtu.be/rnJugoI-NUU We're back now, but miss all the great people and the easy pace of New Zealand. What a great country.
