Over the past few weeks we’ve taken quite a journey together. We began with the language of sound, exploring how we as audiophiles describe what we hear—tonality, air, ambience, dynamics, and all the other terms that help us share the intangible. From there we dove into engineering concepts, peeling back the curtain on damping factor, clipping, capacitors, and balanced circuitry. And finally, we circled back to the heart of our shared pursuit: how to build systems that image, cohere, and connect us more deeply to the music.

When I look back on this "series", I realize how lucky I am to be able to sit here each day and write about something I love. For more than half a century, audio has been my obsession, my profession, and my playground. To still be writing, and to know there are people out there willing to read and think along with me, is a gift I don’t take lightly.

It sometimes amazes me that anyone wants to follow my ramblings about transformers, preamps, or the mysteries of absolute phase. Yet here you are, part of a worldwide community of people who care about music reproduced at its very best. You ask questions, share experiences, and keep the conversation alive. Without that, these words would just vanish into the void.

So today’s post is not about equipment or concepts, but about gratitude. Thank you for being here, for paying attention, and for adding your voice to this dialogue. High-end audio is about more than technology—it’s about people who care enough to keep pushing, experimenting, and listening.

I’m deeply honored to be part of this family we’ve built together. Thanks for letting me spew my thoughts, for indulging my curiosities, and for reminding me every day that this passion still matters.

Thanks for being part of our HiFi family.
