Pull that cord out of the wall socket and the music stops.
It is always fascinating to me to watch the puzzled look on people's faces when I bring up the importance of the power cable. It's not just an energy conduit between the source of power and your equipment, but it is in fact the first link in a long chain ending at your ears.
One of the most common requests of me is to explain how a power cable can make a sonic difference.
I typically throw the question back.
How could it not?
All the music is in the power cord.
