  1. The best place for subwoofers are built into the bottom side of well designed speakers. You get them in stereo, you don’t have to run a wire to them unless you are biamping (and that wire is no longer than the main wire) and they don’t take up any extra space in the room.

      Perhaps I’m a day late in responding to this, but you are so correct!
      In the past gone by 23 years, I’ve seen a slew of speakers made by many companies that built the subwoofers and amps in to the bottom of their speakers.
      Polk Audio was one of the mane companies that made them.
      I have sold many pares of them when I yoost to work for both Best Buy and Cirket City.
      I almost bought a pare of them myself because of how good they sounded to me.
      But at the time, I was living in a very small apartment, so I didn’t have the room for them.
      But I really wanted a pare of them.
      I haven’t been to a stereo shop in a good long while.
      So, perhaps they’re still being made and sold today?
