On first thought I guess I assumed that pacing, rhythm and timing to be the performers job and far less the job of the recording and/or the playback system, whereas, imaging, tonality, dynamics and accuracy were mostly the jobs of the recording equipment, personnel , and playback system. I am sure I am missing something since the British have always been at the forefront of my preferred style of music, progressive rock and PRaT is very important to them. I will look into this as time permits. Thanks for sharing this question.

  2. Let's hope that the new PS Audio speakers addresses all areas of speaker concerns and gives us a speaker that does it all;) We can finally get off the speaker merry go round and just enjoy the music.

    1. Amen Art. And I would love to gain about a third of my listening/studio square footage back as well. My old ears don't really appreciate massive horn speakers as much as they did 47 years ago.
