  1. Paul, seeing this video and not wondering you’re mainly a hard working company owner and family man....how much time a week in average do you spend listening to a high end setup at all (for testing or music pleasure)?

      1. Paul , I really enjoy these videos and I'm always surprised at the similarities of our experiences . I'll be married for 45 years in April . For the first , roughly 15 years , my wife never had a living room because the largest room in the house always became my sound room . I also had the RS Beta speakers which , forgive me , were the rear channels of a four channel system ( Beverage electrostatics and a pair of Janus subs were up front ) . She never complained but often looked befuddled when I told her what I wanted for Christmas or my birthday - - " $500 for a piece of wire ? " . Women are much better people than we are .

      2. Sure, we shouldn’t forget, listening is also part of your job 😉 Of the very few developers I know, I must say not a minority listenes more or less just for testing/voicing. Music interest partly still alive, if so then rather concerts.
It reminds me a bit on the discussion about musicians not listening to high end systems.

But isn’t it interesting that you’re in a similar situation as those of your potential customers with the money but who don’t buy high end (even if interested in music)...no WAF for equipment in the living environment, busy job with no time for listening, aside of the job other priorities like family or other hobbies etc.

I think the biggest difference to the typical music and high end enthusiast who listenes often and long time more than background to his high end setup setup for music pleasure is, that sporadic test-listening partly has some different demands and priorities to the sound. I think that’s a reason why some designs or voicings (I don’t want to imply yours) don’t fully hit the taste of the customers.

  2. Hi Paul

I've watched this video and video on home theater wondering why you don't have PS audio equipment in use at home theater? After all you want to Market PS audio equipment -> right?

Just curious, I guess they call this "put your money where your mouth is" sort of experience?
    Let me know,
