We use words to describe pictures, concepts, models, and experiences. They are imprecise and open to interpretation. Remember the Telephone Game where a short story is repeated from person to person and at the end nothing like its beginning? I have for years tried to explain the dance between impedance, voltage, current and all things electrical using just words without a lot of success. Then, a kind reader sent me a great little cartoon that summed it up with a single glance. We don't need a deep understanding of Ohm's law to listen to stereo or to choose equipment, but it sure helps to have an idea what's going on. Thanks to reader Andy Otes from the land of Oz for this great cartoon.
