The Gas Pops

Clay Rose, writer and lead singer of the Gasoline Lollipops is a star. No, really. What an amazing performer. He just blows me away.

Listening to the first tracks from the band’s latest release on Octave Records, Nightmares, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Clay’s a star.

Check out Clay’s live performance on this video.

See what I mean? This guy’s a star.

Octave’s latest release sets yet another milestone. Recorded in Pure DSD, this is our best yet (you’ll notice we’ve managed to get better and better with each release). Rich, open, with depth and soundstaging that is nothing short of extraordinary, the Gasoline Lollipop’s Nightmares is a must-have release.

Head over to Octave Records and have a listen to what is a remarkable album.

Nightmares.

  1. I really wonder why it is necessary to use two microphones for this recording and which tricks the recording engineer has to apply in order to avoid a blurred sound due to the fact that the guitar mic also captures the singer’s voice and vice versa??

  2. Goddamn Paul you did it this time!
This man is fabulous! Ordered my copy After listening to him on YouTube yesterday. I suspect this album will sell out very fast.
