When we first started PS Audio in 1974, with simple phono stages and preamps, we could design them, sell them and go on to the next project. Over the years, and with advent of connected digital audio, that’s all changed.
Many of today products have reached a level of complexity that necessitates a constant input of energy from engineering to stay relevant. It’s an interesting change in the business model.
We embrace the benefits of technological change but, as with everything, it comes at a price.
