I just opened the latest edition of Stereophile‘s online magazine and the first thing staring me in the face is a car ad. I was put off enough to not even download the mag.
Am I the only person put off by this?
Both Stereophile and TAS are welcome reads each month: but only for their hifi content and relevant ads.
I know times are tough out there, but unwanted and unasked for in-your-face marketing is a wrong headed approach in my view.
If I were interested in cars, I’d be reading a car mag.
