Building Community

Being part of a community of like-minded people in a rapidly changing technological world is important to me. It may be critical to our survival. It’s community, cooperation, and adaptability that separates us from any other species on the planet.

Most species depend on their community for survival, but those groups are rigid in structure and unable to adapt to changing circumstances and environment. Bees, for example, cannot survive without the cooperation of the hive, but they also cannot adapt their group behavior if circumstances warrant. What separates humans is our adaptability, communication skills, and imagination. We can envision the future, something no other creature has yet shown as a skill.

I spend a great many hours building, interacting, and nurturing our community because the strength of our extended family is what keeps my flame burning. And my efforts are mirrored by so many good people throughout the world. People just like you that appreciate the benefits of family.

Together we can move forward in a way disparate small groups cannot.

Sure, families squabble and disagree on a regular basis. That’s a good thing. It’s how we learn.

Thank you for being a part of our family, our community, our shared love of music, hifi, and the authentic reproduction of the wealth of recorded music the world has to offer.

I am honored to be included.
