  1. This is greatly dependent on “house systems” – sound reinforcement equipment.

    When a great guitarist plays thru something like a Fender Princeton amp, he has a mic close, feeding the house system.

    Sound reinforcement equipment is designed to pressurize the larger auditorium.

    This is very different for a home stereo system.

    Paul, could omni directional speakers compensate for expanding the sweet spot vs a conventional speaker? Not sure what the pros/cons are of these types of speakers.
