  1. For the most part, service after the sale is lip service. Its all about selling then on to the next sale. Though good business understands customer care is the foundation of the business its supports building. Sony had it at one time. Had their own service company across America, this was to support their customers, keep brand loyalty. Then American took over keep positions and they shut it down, they became faceless due to that move. Any car company is worthless if you have problems, all they will say is go to your dealer and the dealer won't do jack for you. The company's that do believe in it, do well and grow and make a profit and have high customer satisfaction. PS Audio is one, Jeff Rowland is great also to name a few who have been consistent in the Audio world.
