  1. Brings back memories. My first was a 200C. Shop in SLO that I can’t remember the name of anymore replaced my Phase Linear 700 that had recently cooked itself.

  2. Were there any PA Audio magazine ads back then? I had several audio magazines back then and I don’t recall PS Audio ads. I’d love to see some of the old PS Audio promo stuff! My teen years had my bedroom wall covered in Pioneer stereo ads – the Flouroscan meter series. How’s that for an audio geek in training…? Got any old adverts?

  3. The best part of this episode is when Paul fumbles around trying to put the preamp back together. I also laughed when Paul said, “Should have gone back to the calculator on that one.” Maybe you have a comic actor career in front of you, Paul. Keep up the good work.

  4. Great to see the history Paul! I started with the original PS Audio phono stage, then a Model Four with a 2C Plus, then two 2C Plus(es) then a 200C, and then I went (mostly) tube. Still using a Digital Link III in my second system, and loving the vinyl rips from my new to me Nuwave Phono Converter. Great to see a North American audio company still around decades later and still doing what we all love. Cheers!

  5. Hi Paul , I enjoyed the tour and it brought back many memories . I notice your original Power Plant was … well , not doing so well . I have one that is in perfect condition and has not been used for quite some time ( I used it to power the transformers for ML Statements ) . If you would like it just let me know .
I have my own ” museum piece” in my system , an original Sequerra No.1 tuner ( SN 1006 ) . It was working perfectly but I had it checked by Day Sequerra a few years ago . They sure built that thing to last .
