  1. I Paul. I have to question the crosstalk advantage of the monoblocks. The phono cartridges Crosstalk is a magnitude worst and nobody is complaining.

  2. I have a Pass Labs xp30 which is a monoblock-ish preamp. It has two power supplies and one separate box box with the volume control. Fabulous sound

  3. Where would it end? How about mono turntables, mono phono preamplifiers, mono tape players, mono CD player transports, mono DAC’s, mono streaming data all with slaves where needed? I guess it’s possible but not very practical.

    1. I’m looking forward to when you get 2CD sets with each channel on one cd.

Or better yet, two different DSD downloads with each channel separated.

  4. I really question if the “golden ear” audiophiles would tell the difference between my high power integrated and mono blocks. I would bet the mortgage that most couldn’t.

Also….everyone’s idea of “affordable” ain’t the same.
