Hi Paul, My sound system is in my basement with a fairly stable temp. all year around so I don’t notice the affects of temperature on sound, BUT I defiantly notice the effects of sunlight on sound even in my basement, (daytime listening); I listen mostly at nighttime, the sound being the absolute best around 2 AM, yes, 2 AM.

      1. I’d like to add to my comment above: The presence of sunlight (radiation) actually modulates the sound waves as anyone who has been to the beach on a sunny day and tried to call out to someone will attest to; it is akin to holding ones hand over ones mouth a trying to yell.

  1. Hello Paul, listening to your video and reading some of the comments I have to wonder if it’s temp or electric power noise that the people are hearing. In the video the person indicates that when he turns on the “electric” heater it get worse and another comment a person says his system sounds best @ 2AM. Yes 2AM most people aren’t using power so it’s cleaner and will sound better.
