Does sight affect sound?

  1. Paul — You invited comments from those of us who may know something about this subject; I am not that person. But I found the video thought-provoking. Your logic makes sense to me that someone with impaired vision may have a better sense of hearing, and hearing 3D in particular. But here’s one additional thought: as our brains interpret what we are hearing and try to create a visual image of the stage, the auditorium, whatever the music calls for, are we not calling up images that we remember once seeing in the real world? And, if so, do those with perfect sight and depth perception have a better library of visual images from which to pull? Hmm. Hoping for some expertise in later comments.
