  1. There are certain things that B&W speakers do that they do better than most any other speakers out there and that is making recorded musical instruments sound like a real instrument. Extracting tiny nuances in the recording so they can be easily heard and never obscured. Granted they don’t have the best imaging or sound stage but as far as being musically satisfying and revealing they are superb. There’s never any haze over the sound. But your equipment must be up to the task because they will reveal the tiniest thing wrong in your system.

    1. Most of it is done with superb cabinetry design. Most B&W speaker cabinets add nothing to the sound and when you combine that with excellent drivers and crossovers only the music is left.

      1. Since I don’t live in America this will never happen, but I would love
        to listen to some of G-R Research’s open baffle loudspeakers.
        Danny sounds like he really knows his stuff.
