Positive Feedback Duet Review
Published Mar 16, 2009If you are serious about protecting your system an increasing sound quality the Duet (or its larger brother the Quintet) is for you. The Duet positively outperforms my Monster HTS 200 conditioner at about the same price. Depending on the size of your system and the quality of your room's AC, the Duet may be the only power filter/protector you'll ever need. At $299 starting price, the Duet is one of the most cost-effective ways I know of to filt

Soloist Premier SE
Published Mar 2, 2009Bass articulation, definition and detail had significantly improved after 12 hours of music and 24 hours of the IsoTek burn-in CD. I thoroughly enjoyed the enhanced subtle rumble coming through the floor, my seat, and my arm rests. Once the subwoofer's level had been properly re-calibrated, the bass was balanced with the other speakers but the increased tactile sensations still felt like I had added another sub. This was a good thing.

GCC 500 Control Amplifier
Published Mar 1, 2009The PS Audio GCC-100's most impressive attribute was its almost total lack of sonic character. It didn't sound exactly like solid-state, and it didn't sound like tubes. It didn't sound dark, but it didn't sound bright, either. It didn't sound forward, and it didn't sound laid-back. What it did have was a sound that, with a wide range of recordings, seemed very much like the sound of musical instruments and voices.

Digital Link Special TAS review
Published Feb 19, 2009...but the PS Audio is in a different league altogether, offering an almost frightening level of detail, dimensionality, and bass impact. I hate to default to one of the oldest clichés in the audio-reviewing lexicon, but the Digital Link III really did lift a few veils. Inserting it in the system was the sonic equivalent of cleaning your windows at the end of a dusty summer.

Power Port Premier Audio Asylum
Published Feb 3, 2009The Power Port Premier is one of those how-did-I-ever-live-without-it products that has forced me to re-evaluate what I think is important in hi-fi. It should be on every serious audiophile's audition list, and if I'd paid any pennies for it, it would've been worth every one! But you don't need to take my word for it. Like all of their products, PS Audio will let you audition a P3 for 30-days

Trio A100- The Cable Nut
Published Feb 3, 2009Not once did I miss the big Krell and feel ready to put it back in the system. What else can I say? Digital amplification is here to stay.
