We just returned from another CES (Consumer Electronics Show) and this time we went for the gusto – showing in the convention center rather than the Alexis Park. As promised, we documented most of our escapades of what it is like to setup a CES booth, run the booth, and do the tear down. The report is written from a most unusual angle and “tells all” in a CES report unlike any you’ve ever read.

In November’s newsletter we asked our members to sign up to be Beta Testers for our new power amplifiers.  Over 1000 of you responded and we thank you!  Everyone that took the time to respond is eligible for a free Power Port with their next order. Narrowing the field down was a tough job and one that Paul stayed out of (for the most part).

As we all know, September 11, 2001 is a day that will live in infamy forever. The tragic events that took place in New York city need not be elaborated upon. We are certain everyone is aware of them. Our hopes and prayers extend to all the families who experienced loss in these tragic events. There were 7000 dead, but how many families does that involve? How many lives have been touched by these events? Countless, we are certain.

The PS Audio Power Port is a high-end AC duplex receptacle that we have designed to improve the AC power connection in your home.  After announcing its introduction, we sold out of the first shipment in the blink of an eye. Production delays, having to do with the multi-step nickel plating and polishing procedures, have kept us from delivering any more Power Ports and 20 amp Ultimate Outlets (High current model) which use the Power Port.

I knew Paul McGowan was nuts when I joined the company. His over-zealous wild-eyed descriptions of new products and the obvious excitement he expressed when he talked about them was, frankly, one of the main reasons I took the job of running PS Audio’s sales department. My name is Robert Lee, and I am the VP of sales for PS.
