If you want to stream music from your iPod Touch or iPhone, now there’s a wireless way to do it.

Audioengine released its Audio Engine W2 for $169 that comes with a transmitter and receiver.

If you are using an iPhone or iPod Touch, it’s like having a mini music server in the palm of your hand.  Or plug it into a pair of powered speakers and you have a reasonably good sounding music system. No batteries are necessary; it runs from the power in your iPod.  It’s completely plug and play because the included receiver is linked right to it.  Thirty seconds after you have it out of the box, you are ready to roll.  Sound quality is just OK as it is from the analog outputs of your current iPod, but if you save your tunes in Apple Lossless the sound for this setup isn’t bad at all.
