follow-up question -
Just had two dedicated lines put into the media equipment closet and have installed Soloist Premier SEs. The way that rack is set up, the most efficient way to bring power to the rack is either by very long runs of cable or Duets…I have chosen Duets.
My PPP is currently connected via a 12’ heavy gauge cord to a non-dedicated outlet in the same room that, too, has a Soloist Premier SE outlet installed. I can now get a shorter cord for the PPP and want to get one of the PerfectWave AC cords for the PPP and plug it into one of the Duets; my power amps will be plugged into the second Duet.
Am I correct in my assumption that in order to get the full benefit of any upgraded PC for the PPP, I would first have to upgrade the PC on the Duet to an equal or better PC than the one I want to purchase for the PPP?
In other words, if I want to get an AC10 for the PPP, the Duet will need at least an AC10?
Thanks.
