PPP service question

I just picked up a Power Plant Premier.  Works nicely, except… one zone is already out!

Before I turned it off for the first time, I flicked the jumper for Zone 5 (where my Halcro MC70 amp was plugged in) to “Delayed” as recommended in the manual, to try the sequenced on-off feature.  Turned the PPP off, amp went off first—everything seemed normal.  But when I tried to turn everything back on, that zone gave me nothing.  I’ve tried plugging in different devices to that zone, and both outlets seem completely dead.  The amp and everything else still work fine in other zones of the PPP.

I’ve tried resetting by unplugging everything including the PPP for two hours– no change.  I pressed the circuit breaker but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t tripped, so it had no effect.  Are there any other resets to try, or do I have a manufacturing defect?

Did you try changing all outlets to always on to diagnose the problem further?

Can you please let us know the serial number?  I want to make sure it is indeed a new one.  It’s hard to imagine how this could happen.  These are tested thoroughly before leaving the factory.  Every outlet, every parameter, it’s just almost impossible for something to be DOA.

Of course we’ll take care of any problem - but we understand there’s nothing more frustrating than a product that doesn’t work out of the box - so let us know the serial number - either call or send us a note or put it here in the forum.

The S/N from the QC Inspection Sheet is either 9C0145 or 9L0145—hard to tell which.  Does that shed any light?

Thanks,
Tim

PP-B0-9L0145 is from our most recent run of product. Everything would have been 100% functional at the factory and then confirmed prior to final shipment from Boulder. Unfortunately it sounds like something happened in shipping.

I suggest you call Scott at 866-406-8946. He’ll get you back up and running!
