Hi guys.
Sorry for my English.
I am from Russia. Novosibirsk.
I am a new user. I bought PWD yesterday.
I have read the entire forum and not found an answer why remote control work very bad.
A dealer in the presence of the two units and both are very bad hailed at the command from remote.
Transport works fine with this remote control.
Firmware 1.07 installed.
This disposable device problem or need to return PWD to dealer.

Ok so I’m wondering who has compared their PWD as a preamp against their preamp. I’m really wondering just how good the PWD is as a preamp. Yes I understand no preamp is better than a preamp but that assumes the PWD preamp is really that good.

Hello, can anyone tell me where to get some advanced specs for the tagNPlay app? Specifically I would like to know if it will work with my logitech squeezebox. Until I can get my hands on a network bridge I have the Perfect Wave Dac being fed by the digital out on a squeezebox - not ideal I know. The trouble is that now I have 2 remote controls, one to change track and one for the volume on the DAC.

Never mind…. I looked a little further and I found the Power Pack. However, It doesn’t look like I remembered it. Didn’t it look alot like the Power Plant Premier? Same case and front panel. Don’t tell me its made in China… It looks generic.

Hello

None of my CD-Rs seem to load on the PWT. It reads it for a while (longer than usual) and then registers track 1 only, and when I hit play it gets stuck in its own world until it gets a reboot.

I have the latest firmware. All other Cds / DVD-Rs work fine

Anyone else have this problem?

Dear Forum Friends;

I was not sure whether this is the place for this, but thought I would try, as I really like the people who post and answer here.

I am moving into an apt with a large living/dining area (34’ x 20’ more or less). One whole side (32’) are sliding glass windows. The living area has a wall about 11’ wide (then a hallway leading to the bedrooms). I am building a false wall in front of this wall about 4” out, and will be about 4” thick, to help hide my large MBL 9008 amps, as they will be tucked into holes in this wall to help hide their depth. Over the amps and attached to the wall will be a shelf about 86” wide, by 20” deep. On the wall will also be hung a large flat-panel TV. The speakers will be on this wall, about 3’ out, and about 9’ apart, center to center.

As I am building this false wall anyway, is there a possibility to build it in a way to function as a bass trap? I will be using MBL 101e’s for speakers, and they are 360 degree radiating, so I was also planning to place sound absorption panels on the wall as well to deal with higher frequencies (500 and above).

Thanks,

Mike
