"I suppose it's only fair to follow-up my earlier post and say that now that the Ultimate Xstream is fully broken-in, it's really quite remarkable. I have it powering my P500, which powers my entire system, and it just made everything sound better.

I expected the lower noise floor, but was surprised that it also seemed to improve dynamics and gave everything a more refined sound. I've done quite a lot of mods to both my amp and CD player, making them quite revealing. And what they revealed was a very nice sonic improvement by adding the Ultimate Xstream to the system. It's certainly not cheap, but it does deliver- and it's a very nicely finished piece too (way too nice to hide in the back with the other cables). "
