"The new power cords are remarkable in fact, astonishing.I would have expected some bass improvement simply on the basis that the plus cords have an 8 gauge structure whereas the minis were 10 gauge. However, the noise floor has just about vanished, mid range detail retrieval has shot up, highs are much better, soundstage has increased, the sound is more open, imaging is more precise.... Overall, the presentation is more natural, more like live, breathing music.
Excellent as the lab series was, these new cords are a quantum leap. I think that we have to marvel at the fact that someone had a vision of something quite new in sonic performance and realised that vision.
