P600 Export Models

 All three models of the PS Audio Power Plant series are available as an export version, producing between 220 and 240 volts on their output (standard is 100 to 120 volts for our domestic model). The output voltage is adjustable by the user via the front panel control on all models of Power Plants.
While all models of Power Plant are able to accept either 120 volts AC or 230 volts AC on their input, they will only produce 120 volts AC on their output unless the export model is chosen.
Customers in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Mexico and Japan can order the domestic model.
Input voltage, 120 or 230 is switchable
 If you live in a country that has 230 volts AC as its standard voltage, you can simply open the Power Plant and switch the voltage adjust control to that voltage. This will work fine, providing that you have equipment that you wish to power from the output of the Power Plant that is able to be run at 120 volts AC. Most stereo and video equipment is easily switchable between 120 volts AC and 230 volts AC.
The Power Plant will not produce 230 volts on its output unless you purchase the export model.
If you have equipment that is not switchable
If the stereo or video equipment in your home is not switchable to 120 volts AC, and must be operated at 230 volts AC, you can purchase the export version of the Power Plant.
Export version of the Power Plant
The export version of the PS Audio Power Plant has a large, highly efficient balanced transformer added to its output. This balanced transformer, which is 80% efficient, will increase the output voltage of the Power Plant to 230 Volts with little to no loss of sonic quality.
