What’s the deal?

Purchase the MK II upgrade kit for your PerfectWave DAC either from us or your dealer and install it yourself or your dealer can do it for you.  If you decide to order and install it yourself, follow the easy steps below.

If you would like PS Audio to perform a fresh factory installation, please call us directly at 720.406.8946 or email sales@psaudio.com and arrange the process.  The price is the same (US installations only).  If you are outside the US you can order online and we will ship the installation kit to you anywhere in the world.

Step 1

Below this section you’ll find 6 pictures of different PerfectWave DAC versions.  The differences cover a two year period of DAC building and the changes are subtle (they do not affect the performance).  Arrows point to the two connectors you need to focus on.  Once you match up your DAC to one of the 6 versions, then simply fill out the form below it and you’re almost finished.  Note: if you prefer you are welcome to call us directly to place your order and have one of our sales people do the work for you.

Step 2

Once you click “submit” you’ll be taken to the secure payment form.  You can choose a payment method that works for you.  We accept all major credit cards as well as Pay Pal.  Fill out the payment form and your card will be charged $995.00.  We will send you back an email notification that we received the funds and within a matter of a few weeks your kit will ship.  We will also email you notification and tracking information when your kit ships.

Step 3

When you get your kit, we will have an easy to follow video presentation and written instructions for you to watch.  If you have any problems whatsoever, simply fill out a support ticket, email us or call us and we’ll walk you through to success.  The kit is easy to install and takes under an hour.  Everything you will need is included.

Please match up your unit

Below are 8 photographs of the different styles of PWD connectors that cover all PWD’s for the two years they have been in production.  Yours may not look exactly like these, but what’s important is to notice the digital input style connector and the output XLR style of connector.  The output XLR’s have only two relevant styles, those with metal and those with just plastic.  If yours has either metal or plastic on the outer rim, that’s all we’re interested in.  The smaller details of each type can vary without issue.

Look only at the two connector types and ignore the labeling.  So, for example, if the labeling is different just ignore the differences.  Look only at the style and color of the two connectors pointed out with arrows to determine what you have.
