Dr. AIX

Life's funny sometimes. Mark Waldrep, aka Dr. AIX, from AIX Records, and I haven't always agreed. Mark too writes a daily blog and he likes to poke me in the ribs from time to time, which makes me smile. I am delighted he writes his blog and have always encouraged him to continue. Yesterday he came to pay us a visit and listen in Music Room One and I am delighted he did.
Mark's a genuinely nice and bright man and his recordings are excellent. We listened to many of his works, most recorded with stereo microphones and when played on the big system the speakers disappeared, the sound revealing and live. I think Mark enjoyed himself, I know I did.
If you haven't checked his catalog, you should. The recordings are quite good.
Mark seems to love controversy and I cannot suggest I am shy of it either, so it was great when two argumentative guys agreed on nearly everything.
Yup, life's funny sometimes.
