Tried installing the latest firmware for the bridge ii, because I want to use the new features like Spotify with the bridge. During the installation of the firmware the screen flashes the message ‘installing firmware starting’. When after more than 90 minutes I still saw this message I re-powered the DAC and now my bridge is gone…
I restarted several times, installed the latest firmware 3.03 and reinstalled the bridge….allas, it is still not visible. Any suggestions?

Doesn’t sound good. Let me get James or Jeremy to help on Monday. My apologies.

Hello Arie1234,

Thanks for reaching out to us about this and sorry to hear that you are having this issue. If you would, please follow this tutorial and try updating your Bridge II locally. Bear in mind that you’ll need a Windows computer to do this:

If you can download this file:

http://updates.psaudio.com/dak…..tSetup.zip

Try running the program inside the zip.  You should see your bridge named in the left panel under the mconnect logo.  If this list is empty try changing the network adapter if possible in the drop down menu.  If you find your bridge, select it, then push the update button and load the 3.4.5 firmware file you can download here:

If you don’t see your Bridge this way let me know, as it may require us replacing the module at that point.

Please reach out to us at service@psaudio.com and we’ll be glad to take care of you.

Kind wishes,

-Jeremy

This link leads to a “404 not found” error.

Hi Jeremy,

Unfortunately, I don’t see the bridge appear. Tried both adapters. The bridge seems to have no network activity at all. The leds on the ethernet outlet are dead…..

This problem is completely solved by replacement of the bridge.
