By now most all of you have heard of the devastating floods in Colorado, the worst of which hit outlying areas close to Boulder but not actually in Boulder. Don’t get me wrong it was scary enough in Boulder with the sirens blaring and announcements of impending doom going all night. Here’s a picture I took the day after the worst that hit Boulder roared through. This used to be the athletic field at Boulder High School.

I started out last month's newsletter telling you that Terri and I were headed out to parts north of Boulder to enjoy some hiking and a few days off. I think we may have found one of the prettiest spots ever - Lake Louise near Banff Canada. Here's a shot I took with my phone - it was simply amazing.

If you've ever been a Zappa fan you'll know where Terri and I are heading out to for a vacation tomorrow. We're also going to be visiting Glacier National Park then on to Banff Canada for a few days of R and R.

What in the world does bread have to do with Power Plants? Well, as many of you know I am a bread snob - eating only crusty artisan breads relative to the nasty packaged cake bread types I used to eat as a kid and, I am also an audio snob, satisfied only when everything in my system sounds right.
