Curating a great list of music is a wonderful way to have on hand the good stuff. Like a recipe book of your favorites, having put the time into amassing a qualified group of tracks that delight you because of their sound quality, their musical content, or both is often times as valuable as all the work we put into the tweaking of our systems in the first place.
Indeed, like food, it's delightful to experiment with new recipes when the mood for new strikes, but having at your finger tips a growing list of favorites is gold.
